Blonde Hair Boy: February 2014

The first month of 2014 has finally passed and I thought why not do a post on some of my favourite items in January. This will be my very first monthly favourites post as well as the first favourite post of the year 2014.

First of I definitely have to mention my newly purchased tote bag by Christian Lacroix. I was so in need of a bigger bag for work so I can fit everything in and this one is just a perfect size. Not to mention the beautiful soft grained leather with makes it look even more expensive. I love how it was designed with a modern twist, from the fact that it's a tote bag ( how many times do you see a male going to work with a tote bag), to the interesting features in front of the bag. Everything about it just makes it so special and steer it away from a typical boring "work" bag. I love it!

As you all know shoes is one of my all-time obsessions so when I see this one when checking out on Solestruck, I immediately thought I must have it. And here it is! I totally adore its sleek and simple design, and especially the fun hashtag (of course!).

Having mentioned my favourite iPhone case, I cannot not mention my favourite phone as well - iPhone 5S. I got it in the gold colour and I'm so glad that it wasn't out of stock seeing it's the most popular colour. Everything about it is so much better than my old iPhone 4S .. obviously: the bigger screen, faster speed and of course, the touch home screen.

Aqva Marine by Bvlgari is my favourite fragrance of the month! I know that it's not really a new released one but I don't really care to be honest. If it smells good it smells good! As I'm pretty fussy when it comes to fragrance, it's really hard for me every time I need to purchase a new one so when I found this, I know that it must be mine! This one has grapefruit, seaweed, and water as main notes , making it really refreshing. Perfect for summer!

Another fragrance but this one is for your house. I purchased this when it was one sale at Myer and I have to say I've been in love with it since. This beautiful fragrance has berries and vanilla note to it, which together give my bedroom a really delicious, yet not offensive smell. I also feel like the fragrance definitely calms my mind down every night before I go to sleep every night. I love it and I think I'll definitely repurchase it again when it runs out.

And last but not least are these perfect trios that keep my lips and hands moisturised every night. I don't know about you but my lips feel so freaking dry every time after I brush my teeth. So a lips moisturiser for me is a must. And this Eight Hour Cream by Elizabeth Arden is perfect for it. This keeps my lips so moisturised all night and I never wake up in the morning with dry and chapped lips using this.
My cuticles sometimes become really dry for no reason and when it does, it becomes really gross with dry skin every where. The hand cream by This Works and nail & cuticle cream by L'occitane have been keeping them in check so they are definitely my favourites of the month.

It has been a pretty hot summer so tailored shorts and t-shirts are definitely my mostly-chosen items for a complete outfit. And I have to say it's my favorite by far! With such a basic combination, you can definitely vamp up the whole outfit by adding quirky/edgy or even the most peculiar accessories that I have in the following photos.

I've been loving this really fun bag by Unif. The structural bag together with its two-sided design definitely give it a different edge. It's also a perfect size to carry all your essentials when out and about. Though I find it a tad too small for me at times.

This oversized fake bones bracelet is also one of my favorite items recently to pair up with this outfit. It definitely enhances the mono-tone look that I was going for. Since oversized has also been one of my favourite trends, I will definitely be out on a hunt for more accessories like this cause I absolutely love it!
