Topsop/Topman is coming to Brisbane!

There's no words I could write here to describe how excited I am that Topshop/Topman is finally coming to Brisbane. To make me even more excited, the Topshop bus is going around Brisbane and the Gold Coast to deliver bags full of freebies for fashion enthusiasts like me. Here is a schedule of where the bus is gonna be in the next 2 days:

(Source: Topshop Facebook)

As you can see one of their stops tonight was at Albert st mall so I decided to take a trip into the city to see if I can get any cute freebies and also to check it out. O.M.G! It was so freaking busy! (Friday night hello?) I mean I imagine it's gonna be busy but man people were literally everywhere. Anw they've run out freebies bag which was a bit disappointing but I did find out that the store is officially up and running on the 5th December. Can't wait!!

Come-back post: Accumulated fashion haul

O.M.G!!! I'm so glad that everything at uni is finished now. No more exams, no more assignments and stress (well maybe not stress). But anw the most important thing is that I can post more regularly on my blog now. Yay! Without further due, let's get straight to my come-back post!

You know how everyone has their own methods of staying stress-free during the most stressful times, such as exam period. Mine is shopping.. or what I usually call: Retail Therapy. ;) So in this post I decided to do a fashion haul that I've been accumulating and wanted to post on here but didn't really have the time. This haul has ASOS, Topshop, Topman, .. you name it! :P

Remember this sweater that I posted ages ago ? Well I decided to get it! It was pretty big for me so I haven't worn it that much but all in all, I like it! It's a really fun and cute sweater and the material feels really smooth and nice when you wear it!

I've got a few compliments when I wear this t-shirt. I love it! It's a bit more fitting than I would usually like but since I don't have many form fitting t-shirts, I'm still pretty happy with it.

I love love love this t-shirt! If you have been following my blog, you probably know why. ;) Yes, the leather look of it! This one is one of the items in Topman leather line which I'm crazy with. There are so many other pieces that I wanted to get but they were all sold out. :(  Enough to see how popular they are!

These jeans are the first pair of stretch skinny that I've ever owned. But I have to say I'm not really crazy about them. They're not as stretchy as I expected and they are either low waisted or I get one size too big because they don't sit very nicely on my waist.

These shoes by Jeffrey Campbell are absolutely fab! I'm not usually a big fan of white shoes but these sold me when I first saw them. The beautiful grain leather upper with the unusual layered sole is to die for. I haven't really worn them that much but I hope I will find more ways to wear them with different outfits in the future!

That's it folks! I've still got another haul but that should be saved for another post so keep an eye out for it! ;)

My apologies! x

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't been able to update my blog over the last 3 weeks. As you all probably know, this time of the year is the craziest and most stressful for uni students like me with exams and assignments. Grr!

I've been extremely busy and will be for another 3 weeks. My last exam is on the 13th so I'll definitely be posting again after that. So look out for it! :) I have so many ideas I wanna write about on here so it will be really exciting!!

See you all when I get back!!

Shine bright like a diamond!

As you all probably know, I went to Rihanna's Diamond World tour last Saturday. And I have to say, she was way better live than I expected! I'm pleased! The show didn't start until around 9 o'clock but the concert was great so I didn't really mind it.
Anywho, I think it's good timing for me to do an outfit post seeing I haven't had one for a while. So here's what I wore for the show last week!

Putting an outfit together for the concert was easier than I thought. When I thought of Rihanna, I immediately thought of the camo jacket that I purchased not very long ago. I didn't have a chance to use it that much as the weather is getting hot here so I thought it was the best timing to pull it out of my wardrobe and make use of it. And I'm glad I did! Like I said in my previous post about this jacket, I love the spikes details on the shoulders, which toughen the jacket up and give it more edginess! (not that the jacket itself is not tough already!)

LV, LV and .. LV!

Hello hello hello!

I feel so bad for not being able to regularly update this blog for the last few weeks. I wish I could since I have so many ideas and outfits I wanna share here on my diary but just did not get the time. I've been crazily busy with uni now that it's nearly October. And that means more and more assignments and exams along with the stress. I can't wait to finish it so I have more time for my blog.

Alright, put aside all the boring stuff. Remember in my "Spikes & Studs" post I mentioned I was gonna do a post just featuring my little coin purse. Well folks here it is! I know it's a little late but better late than never right? :P

This is the little gorgeous box that it comes in. I can already feel the fanciness just by the box itself. I love how the box has the iconic Louis Vuitton brown color and also the texture on it, making it feel super expensive. I also love how they tie the knot with the leather strings. Love it!

There it is! The coin purse is perfectly wrapped in the famous Louis Vuitton dust bag. And the inside of the box has a very distinct smell of leather, which I absolutely adore!

The purse itself is in Taiga leather with a rather subtle iconic initials of Louis Vuitton. I think that's one of the reasons why I chose it in the first place. But to be honest, now I think I should have picked the Monogram one in the Women's line just because it's classic and you know.. it screams Louis Vuitton! lol. I think it's good to be obnoxious sometimes, especially when it comes to Louis Vuitton! Oh well! I'll make sure my next one would be in Monogram instead. :D

One thing I gotta say is that I'm a little surprised with its size compared to the one in the Women's line. It is a tiny teeny big smaller! You would think that the one for men should be a bit bigger since men's hands are generally bigger than women's. But this is not the case! Another reason why I should have chosen the other one!

All in all I still think that this is a very cute and practical coin purse for those who preferred a small everyday wallet, or even for going out at night. You could just head out to work with this baby in the morning, then go straight to a party after and still look chic with this coin purse.

Finally the interior of the purse! I love how roomy it is inside. It's big enough for your coins, cash and all your essential cards. See the middle slot? You can literally jam a few cards in there. That's why I can totally use it as my normal everyday wallet. One thing I wish they could have done is having a zippy slot separate for coins. It's just because the coins always tend to fall out every time I try to get a card out and it annoys me sometimes.

Anywho, I still really really love this coin purse/mini wallet. And have I mentioned that the leather smells absolutely amazing and expensive? Divine! I'm going to Rihanna concert tomorrow night so I'm definitely bringing this baby with me. Ooo and there's gonna be lots of photos of my outfits and the concert for my next post so stay tuned!

New season Old Wardrobe

So winter has officially finished here in Brisbane, now that it's already mid-September. But I have to admit, I kinda miss it still! I miss layering with a fabulous coat or a nice jacket every time I put on an outfit for a night out.
Anyway, now that spring has come I think I should sort out my wardrobe soon to see what I can wear for this season. I usually don't worry too much about what season it is and I haven't been much of a trend follower either. I practically just wear whatever I like and feel comfortable with. But I feel like I wanna add more colors to my outfits for this season just to give them more fun. It's spring after all! And guess what ? I just had a browse over my wardrobe and they are all either black or white or dark colors! I think the brightest item I have is the blue stripe tee and some other random blue tees (Yep I love blue too!). I need more colors! Do you know what that means ? Yes! Time for some new clothes shopping! We all love this part, don't we?
I've been eyeing on some sweaters (yes im still obsessed with them!) and other pieces at Topshop but haven't really made up my mind which ones I should get yet. I would get them all if I could for sure! Anyhow, here are some items that are in my cart right now:

How cute is this sweater! I know this is still white but at least it has a big fat pink teddy bear in the middle. And the teddy bear is fluffy too! J'adore!

I absolutely adore this little sweater! It ticks all the boxes for a spring item that I need now. Full of colors, fun and oh-so-sweet! And guess what? It's on sale too! It's definitely perfect and talking about it even makes me wanna get it more!

There's a matching leggings coming with the sweater as well but I'm still not sure if I should get it or not. I mean I've never worn leggings before so I'm not sure if they're gonna look good on me. And it must be really brave of me if this colorful pair of leggings ended up being my very first ones. LOL! Anw, we'll see! I'm tempted though. They're just so adorable!
