C H I N A T O W N

Chinatown/ Prostitute Fortitude Valley is one of my favourite places in Brisbane, where I usually have brunch every Sunday morning. Everything is so cheap here..well.. not everything but you know what I mean. It's also one of those places that is just a normal tourist area when the sun is up, and then suddenly turns into a night-life district full of nightclubs and bars when the lights are on, especially on the weekends...

You can pretty much get anything here when this place gets dark: sex, drugs, .. all the good stuff you know.. LOL JOKING!

Speaking of which, I haven't been there for a night out for a while. Do I miss it? I don't even know!

New kicks!

So I've been pretty naughty (as always) and have bought three pair of new shoes this month (crazy I know!). They were all on pretty good sale so I couldn't resist myself. Oh well! I've always been a sucker for a good sale after all.

These babies are by Underground. I've been wanting a pair of creepers for so long and now my dream finally came true. When I saw these on sale, I knew I had to get them and I definitely didn't regret it! They look so adorable and they're those kind of shoes where you can either dress up or down with, which I really love!
One little complaint from me is that you have to really break your feet in them, which can make them crease a lot at the front as you can see. Also, my heels sometime slide off if I didn't wear thick socks, which is a little bit disappointing for me as these shoes are supposed to fit me like a glove (Notice the little plastic half sole ? That's one of my efforts to make them fit me better. lol). I'm pretty curious to see if they would fit me better if I went down one size ( I'm usually size UK 7 btw).
All in all, I still really love them and they will definitely be showcased in my next outfit post!

The second pair I got was from Steve Madden. I was in need for a new pair of kind-of formal shoes as my old one from Aldo is pretty worn out at the tip. So when I saw these shoes with 70% off, I couldn't not get them! With that kind of price, they were definitely a steal for me! I love how they are formal shoes but not boring, thanks to those little spikes at the top and the back of them. Those spikes absolutely give them a little bit of "va va voom" and fabulousness!
They are so comfy to walk in and I can imagine me going to work with these in the morning and then go straight to a party in the evening!
If only they had higher heels, it would have been perfect for me! However in saying that, with that kind of sale I couldn't be happier!

These babies are also from Steve Madden (I've probably got enough of Steve Madden for now! LOL) Aren't they adorable? As they were available in navy and green, I was wavering a little bit between those two colours. I kinda wanted to go with green but was worried that it would look a little bit "Christmasy" with the green and red together. In the end I went with my gut and got the green pair, thinking that the green leather is pretty interesting and I haven't got any green shoes. And I'm glad I did!!
They are absolutely gorgeous with the green leather and a pop of red colour inside, giving a little bit of Christian Louboutin feel to it. And you know what? They are absolutely not "Christmasy" at all!!

Oh gosh I didn't realize that I have typed so much until now. This is probably gonna be my longest post so far. Haha. Well I guess I've been pretty obsessed with shoes so that is probably why!

Till next time!

Sweaters obsessions

I think I've been obsessed with sweaters lately. They're really cute!! Every time I go windows shopping online, I can't help myself clicking on the sweaters section and browse through it first. It's really strange for me since I used to not be a big fan of them because of the inconvenience of taking them off. It always tends to stick with what I wear inside and makes me look like I'm stripping the whole thing off, which is not a very good look. But I think I could manage to do it better now. Plus it's still cold here in Brisbane so I definitely need some warm pieces when I go out, and sweaters is a perfect option with the weather here, cold and sunny at the same time!

After "windows shopping" for sweaters in the past 2 weeks, I managed to grab me 2 in total (very naughty I know!). Both of them I really love!! I'm gonna show one here with my outfit the other day and definitely show the other one in a later post. Hope you're gonna love it as much as I do!!

Tiger vs Fox

I have to say I'm really excited about this post. The first reason is because I haven't posted an outfit post for a while now. Today I finally got around to it. The second reason is because most of the items in this outfit are the NEW items that I posted in the previous two posts (You can check it out here and here). I can't wait to show you how I put them together in this outfit!!!!

I'm in love with my new orange/tan men clutch. It's the perfect size for me to put all my essentials without it looking too big on a casual day. Guess what is usually in it, I guess I would have to do another post later about all my usual essentials. :)
